solid and practical experience in selling and supporting

includes inside sales and direct sales of computer based products
and systems. My mission has always been to teach my customers how to

My Qualifications -

Sales
of POS (Point of Sale) products to PC systems houses and
VARS/resellers since 1985.
·
Directed
sales, marketing, inside sales support for computer products
distributor. Increase sales 10X.
·
Conceived
and designed websites for computer products distribution
company.
·
Created
computerized tracking system (wrote the data base) to take care of
RMA’s for a distribution company. This permitted accessing RMA’s and
Repairs by product, model no. serial number, invoice number and/or
date, or by salesman. This provided a look up for complete status
from date of receipt to date of return shipment.

Wrote
the plan for marketing a semiconductor peripheral memory product for
IBM PC and compatible microcomputers. Implemented the plan and
built and trained a nation wide network of manufacturer’s
representatives to sell the
product.

Selected,
qualified, appointed manufacturer’s representatives in US for sales
of instrumentation to government, commercial and aerospace
customers.

Selected,
qualified and appointed manufacturer’s import firms in Europe, and
Australia to sell
sophisticated electronic instrumentation, and electronic weighing
systems.

Selected,
qualified, and appointed dealerships in southern/eastern US for
electronic scale product (a bar code label printing digital scale)
for supermarket applications.

Increased
sales by 300%. Increased margins by improving sales department
efficiency. Repositioned company’s market presence to be the quality
source for Load Cells for industrial and aerospace applications.
Introduced annual forecasting and budgeting techniques and
procedures to sales department.

Awarded
US Dept. of Commerce “E” for excellence in exporting. Introduced
annual forecasting and budgeting techniques and procedures to sales
department.

Increased
sales of industrial electronic monitoring systems by 200%. Created
comprehensive salesman’s support manual which contained sales leads,
technical specifications, illustrations of typical systems,
application notes and other collateral materials to support hi-tech
field sales.

Increased
industrial instrument sales 37% first year, 59% second year. Revised
the advertising program yielding a 10X increase in the number of
qualified sales leads received. Negotiated largest order for
industrial instruments.

Negotiated
annual blanket supply contracts with
major oil and communicaitons
companies.
